For the Coating
  • 12 oz Bright White Candy Melts Or white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Shortening Optional for smoothing

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Crumble the prepared confetti cake until fine.
  3. Combine unsalted butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla bean paste to make frosting.
  4. Gradually mix frosting into crumbled cake until combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into egg shapes and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Melt candy melts in a glass measuring cup until smooth.
  7. Dip the ends of the sticks into the melted coating and insert into the cake pops.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy coating and let excess drip off.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles while coating is still wet.
  10. Let the decorated cake pops set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
