  • 1 cup lime juice about 8-10 limes
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, lime juice, sugar, ice, and water.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy, about 30-60 seconds. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Taste the slush and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar. Blend again if you add sugar.
  4. Pour the slush into glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  5. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
