Step-by-Step Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions (about 20 minutes). Once cooked, fold in a mixture of rice wine vinegar, sugar, and salt while the rice is still warm.
- Season salmon fillets with soy sauce. Cook in an air fryer at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until it flakes easily.
- Flake the cooked salmon into a mixing bowl and combine with cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Press prepared sushi rice into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle furikake seasoning over the rice. Layer the creamy salmon mixture on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly, top with sliced avocado, cucumber, and green onions, and serve with pieces of nori.
