Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions (about 20 minutes). Once cooked, fold in a mixture of rice wine vinegar, sugar, and salt while the rice is still warm.
  2. Season salmon fillets with soy sauce. Cook in an air fryer at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until it flakes easily.
  3. Flake the cooked salmon into a mixing bowl and combine with cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F. Press prepared sushi rice into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle furikake seasoning over the rice. Layer the creamy salmon mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool slightly, top with sliced avocado, cucumber, and green onions, and serve with pieces of nori.
