Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Place the chicken breast-side down on a cutting board.
Using kitchen shears, cut along both sides of the backbone and remove it.
Flip the chicken over and press down on the breast to flatten it.
Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and lemon juice.
Place the chicken on the grill, skin-side up, and cook for about 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
