Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by slicing the beef into thin strips against the grain. Mix beef strips with soy sauce and a sprinkle of cornstarch. Marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil and sauté onions for about 3 minutes until translucent. Remove and keep warm.
  3. Add marinated beef strips to the hot wok in a single layer. Sear for 3-4 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, and freshly grated ginger to prepare the sauce.
  5. Return sautéed onions to the wok with bell peppers. Pour sauce over and toss everything together for another 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
