Step-by-Step Instructions for Tiropitas
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of crumbled feta, 1 cup of cottage cheese, and 2 large eggs. Blend until smooth.
  2. Take thawed phyllo dough and unroll it. Cut into 2-inch wide strips. Brush a strip with melted butter.
  3. At the base of each buttered phyllo strip, place about a teaspoon of the cheese filling. Fold over to form a triangle and seal.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet and arrange tiropitas on it. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle sesame seeds.
