In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, cooking until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Once browned, transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and pour the marinara sauce over them.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
