Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake according to the package instructions, approximately 28 minutes.
  3. Once baked, allow the tater tots to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.
  4. Carefully thread 4-6 tater tots onto each skewer and space them out slightly.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over each skewer, followed by crispy bacon bits and half of the chopped green onions.
  6. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake the skewers for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Carefully remove the skewers from the oven and top them with the remaining green onions before serving with sour cream for dipping.
