Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by seasoning your boneless chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until it starts to foam. Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts in the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest on a plate. In the same skillet, add an additional tablespoon of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until the garlic turns fragrant.
- Pour in 4 cups of chicken broth, ensuring to scrape up any flavorful bits stuck to the pan. Bring the broth to a simmer before adding in 8 ounces of egg noodles.
- Cook the noodles in the simmering broth for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender but still slightly firm.
- When the noodles are perfectly cooked, stir in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese and the cooked chicken. Toss in freshly chopped parsley just before serving.
