- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 diced yellow onion and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Incorporate 2 minced garlic cloves and 8 ounces of chopped cremini mushrooms into the skillet, cooking for another 8 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low, add 4 ounces of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan, and optionally 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth.
