- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté diced yellow onion and green bell pepper for about 2 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef, sprinkle with table salt, garlic powder, and black pepper; cook for about 8–10 minutes, breaking up beef until browned.
- Slice hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and arrange cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce into the beef mixture; layer half of the provolone cheese on top. Cover the skillet for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto each hoagie roll and sprinkle remaining cheese on top before placing on the baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly, and rolls are lightly toasted.
