Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Place a wire rack on top of the lined baking sheet and arrange the buttery crackers in a single layer.
- Place a piece of bacon on top of each cracker, overlapping the edges slightly.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne until smooth.
- Generously spoon or brush the glaze over each bacon-topped cracker.
- Bake the crackers for 18-22 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the glaze is bubbling.
- Allow the crackers to cool on the wire rack for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a serving platter.
