Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm water with sugar and sprinkle the active dry yeast on top. Let sit for 5-7 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Once the yeast mixture is foamy, pour it into the dry ingredients along with olive oil. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour.
- Gently punch down the dough, transfer back to a floured surface, and knead in the mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and brush the loaf with melted butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Once baked, sprinkle with fresh parsley and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
Allow the dough to rise completely to ensure a light and airy loaf. Best served fresh, but can be stored.
