Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Take your puff pastry out of the refrigerator and let it sit for about 10 minutes to soften slightly. Roll out the pastry into a rectangular shape and spread a thin, even layer of Dijon mustard across it.
- Distribute the sliced ham evenly over the mustard-covered pastry, then sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
- Roll the puff pastry from one long side to the other, then slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Chill the sliced pinwheels for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Brush the tops with an egg wash and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
