Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Take your puff pastry out of the refrigerator and let it sit for about 10 minutes to soften slightly. Roll out the pastry into a rectangular shape and spread a thin, even layer of Dijon mustard across it.
  3. Distribute the sliced ham evenly over the mustard-covered pastry, then sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Roll the puff pastry from one long side to the other, then slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  5. Chill the sliced pinwheels for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  6. Brush the tops with an egg wash and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
