  • 1/2 cup Smoked Mozzarella regular mozzarella can be used
  • 12-16 oz Hot Italian Sausage casings removed, mild or plant-based can be used
  • 1/4 Red Onion sliced, yellow onion can substitute
  • 1 drizzle Raw Honey maple syrup can also be a substitute

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey Bear Pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Allow the prepared pizza dough to sit at room temperature for 30-45 minutes.
  3. In a medium skillet, brown the hot Italian sausage over medium-low heat for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Prepare the white sauce according to your chosen recipe, stirring until well combined and warmed through.
  5. Roll out the dough into a 9" x 13" rectangle and place it in a lightly oiled quarter sheet pan. Spread the white sauce, then layer with cheeses, sausage, and onion.
  6. Bake the assembled pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes and then drizzle with raw honey before serving.
