For Garnishing
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries (for Garnishing) For topping before serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the strawberries by cleaning 2 cups under cool water, removing stems and slicing into halves or quarters. Blend with 1/4 cup sugar until smooth.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup of the strawberry puree in a small bowl for layering.
  3. In a chilled bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold the remaining strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
  5. Layer 1/2 cup reserved strawberry puree at the bottom of serving glasses and spoon the mousse on top.
  6. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. When ready to serve, top with fresh strawberries.
