  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour gluten-free flour blend can be used
  • 3 large Eggs no direct substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 4 tablespoons Butter can replace with olive oil
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella shredded can be used
  • 4 ounces Prosciutto substitute with cooked bacon or omit
For the Topping
  • 2 cups Arugula can use spinach as alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil any salad oil works
  • to taste Salt and Pepper adjust to personal taste

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (225°C) and place a 9-inch cast iron skillet inside for 8 minutes.
  2. In a blender or mixing bowl, combine whole milk, all-purpose flour, large eggs, sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Remove the hot skillet from the oven and add butter, melting over medium heat for 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Pour the batter into the skillet over the melted butter; scatter mozzarella and prosciutto on top.
  5. Return the skillet to the oven and bake for about 15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Toss arugula with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add this to the Dutch Baby right before serving.
  7. Slice and serve warm, enjoying each bite of this delightful dish.
