  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese cheddar or pepper jack recommended
For the Shells
  • 12 pieces Taco Shells use pre-made shells and gluten-free options if desired
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups Chopped Lettuce for crunch
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes or use fresh salsa
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onions optional
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup Salsa choose your spice level

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey for 5-7 minutes until browned. Stir in taco seasoning.
  3. Crush the taco shells slightly and fill each with the meat mixture, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  4. Press each filled taco shell into non-stick skull molds. Optionally spray molds with non-stick spray first.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Carefully remove from oven and let cool before taking them out of molds.
  7. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sour cream, and salsa. Serve immediately.
