Ingredients
  

For the Wontons
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup coconut oil for frying
For the Sushi Rice
  • 1 cup sushi rice short-grain, sticky
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
For the Filling
  • 1 medium avocado or silken tofu
  • 1 cup tuna steak sushi-grade
  • 2 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup or sweet chili sauce for spice
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha optional
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest or lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons furikake or black sesame seeds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oil in a deep frying pan. Wrap wonton wrappers around cream horn molds and set aside.
  2. Fry the wonton cones in the hot oil at 175 °C (350 °F) for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions, then fold in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let cool.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing flaked tuna with mayonnaise, tomato sauce, sriracha, and lime zest.
  5. Assemble cones with rice, avocado slices, and tuna mixture.
  6. Garnish with furikake or sesame seeds and serve immediately.
