Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by preheating your grill to 300°F, ensuring you create an indirect heat zone.
  2. In a medium bowl, soak panko breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes. Then, add in ground beef, minced garlic, BBQ rub, and kosher salt. Mix until incorporated and form into 18 meatballs.
  3. Transfer the shaped meatballs to a dish and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Place meatballs on the grill grates over indirect heat and grill for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Brush BBQ sauce generously over each meatball and cook for another 15 minutes.
  6. Transfer meatballs to a serving platter and serve with extra BBQ sauce, onions, and pickles.
