- Begin by cooking your rice or steaming broccoli to serve alongside the tofu.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Crumble the tofu into bite-sized pieces and arrange it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Drizzle tofu with oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 20–30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine maple syrup, tamari, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and add it to the simmering sauce to thicken.
- Once tofu is golden, remove it from the oven and combine with the sauce.
- Serve warm over rice or with steamed broccoli, garnished with green onions.
