  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Use nutritional yeast for vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can be used.

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
For the Chicken
  • 1.5 pounds Chicken Breast (Tenderloins) Thighs can be used instead.
  • 2 large Eggs Flax eggs for vegan option.
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey Maple syrup is a vegan alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Sauce Customize for spice level.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Chipotle Chili Powder Experiment with spices.
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs Thyme, Cilantro, or Parsley.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine the cornflakes, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and sea salt. Pulse until fine crumbs.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and hot sauce. Coat chicken in egg mixture, then dredge in cornflake crumbs.
  4. Arrange the chicken on the baking sheet with space in between. Drizzle olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  5. While baking, make the hot honey sauce by combining honey, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, chipotle powder, garlic powder, and onion powder in a saucepan over low heat.
  6. Once chicken is cooked and golden brown, drizzle the hot honey sauce over it and garnish with fresh herbs.
