- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat in a medium saucepan. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Whisk in 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- Gradually pour in 1 cup of milk or cream while whisking. Stir over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until thick and smooth.
