Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of salted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ½ small diced yellow onion and sauté until softened for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add 12 ounces of sliced mushrooms along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Introduce 2 cloves of minced garlic and 3 sprigs of fresh thyme to the pan. Cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in ½ cup of white wine to deglaze the skillet, scraping up browned bits. Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
