Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Whisk together cream of mushroom soup and milk in a medium bowl until smooth.
  5. Layer half of the potato slices, half of the beef mixture, and half of the soup mixture in a greased baking dish. Repeat the layers.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until top is golden brown.
  9. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
