  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Can substitute with cheddar or a blend
  • 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce Homemade or store-bought
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Pepperoni Halved to avoid burns
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Optional

Step-by-Step Instructions for Pizza Quesadillas
  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes.
  2. Generously butter one side of each flour tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle about 1/3 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the tortilla in the skillet.
  4. Dollop on 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce and scatter halved pepperoni over the sauce.
  5. Now, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top and place a second tortilla on top, butter-side up.
  6. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, flip gently and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve warm, optionally with marinara sauce.
