Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in one finely chopped onion and 3 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add 4 diced potatoes, season with 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon paprika, and 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Mix well and let absorb flavors for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of beef broth and cover the skillet. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Sprinkle 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and let cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
