Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a measuring cup, whisk together maple syrup, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, cooking for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add diced red bell pepper and shredded carrots. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until tender.
  5. Pour prepared sauce over the beef and veggies. Simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Stir in sliced green onions before serving.
  7. Spoon beef mixture into lettuce leaves and serve with rice.
