Description

Delicious turkey sliders topped with avocado and spicy mayo, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Tomato slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and breadcrumbs. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. While the patties are cooking, in a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce to create the spicy mayo.
  5. To assemble the sliders, spread a layer of spicy mayo on the bottom half of each slider bun. Place a turkey patty on top, followed by a slice of avocado, a lettuce leaf, and a tomato slice. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious turkey sliders!

Notes

  • For added flavor, mix in some chopped fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro into the turkey mixture.
  • Substitute the ground turkey with ground chicken or lean beef for a different taste.
