Description
Delicious turkey sliders topped with avocado and spicy mayo, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 slider buns
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Tomato slices, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and breadcrumbs. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the patties are cooking, in a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce to create the spicy mayo.
- To assemble the sliders, spread a layer of spicy mayo on the bottom half of each slider bun. Place a turkey patty on top, followed by a slice of avocado, a lettuce leaf, and a tomato slice. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious turkey sliders!
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in some chopped fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro into the turkey mixture.
- Substitute the ground turkey with ground chicken or lean beef for a different taste.
