Tuna Steaks with Creamy Garlic Sauce and Salad are irresistible!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 4 cups mixed greens (such as spinach, arugula, and romaine)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the tuna steaks with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Grill the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer them more cooked. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, dill, lemon zest, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
