A refreshing Peach and Cardamom Lemonade recipe perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and ground cardamom. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp, pressing down with a spatula to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or water.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace half of the cold water with sparkling water.
- Add a splash of vodka or gin for an adult twist on this refreshing drink.
