Description

A refreshing Marinated Tomato and Burrata Salad with Balsamic Glaze that will delight your tastebuds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to coat the tomatoes evenly. Let the mixture marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature to enhance the flavors.
  2. While the tomatoes are marinating, prepare the burrata cheese. Gently place the burrata on a serving platter.
  3. After the tomatoes have marinated, spoon them over the burrata cheese, including any juices from the bowl.
  4. Scatter the torn basil leaves over the top of the salad.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the entire salad for added flavor and presentation.
  6. Serve immediately as a refreshing appetizer or side dish.

Notes

  • For added crunch, sprinkle some toasted pine nuts or walnuts over the salad before serving.
  • Substitute the burrata with fresh mozzarella for a different texture and flavor.
