A refreshing and fruity drink made with mango and dragonfruit, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup diced dragonfruit (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup diced mango (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon green tea powder (matcha)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a blender, combine the diced dragonfruit, diced mango, sugar, lemon juice, and green tea powder. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  4. Add the cooled water to the pitcher and stir well to combine. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled refresher over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a caffeine boost, steep green tea bags in the boiling water instead of using green tea powder.
  • Experiment with other fruits like pineapple or strawberries for a different flavor profile.
