Description

A refreshing iced beverage made with green tea, blueberries, and a hint of lemon, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a small saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine the fresh blueberries and honey. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the skins.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled green tea, blueberry mixture, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the blueberry green tea mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a caffeine-free version, use decaffeinated green tea bags.
  • Add a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
