A delicious and spicy Hot Honey Feta Chicken recipe that combines the sweetness of honey with the tanginess of feta cheese.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix together the honey, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice.
- Pour the honey mixture over the seared chicken breasts in the skillet.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the honey mixture.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
