Description
A refreshing summer beverage made with cucumbers and mint, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large cucumbers, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, packed
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Mint sprigs and cucumber slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped cucumbers, fresh mint leaves, lime juice, and honey or agave syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp. Use a spatula to press down and extract as much liquid as possible.
- Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with mint sprigs and cucumber slices.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace half of the cold water with club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
- Add a splash of your favorite fruit juice, such as watermelon or pineapple, for a fruity twist.
