Ingredients

- 1 pound frozen meatballs
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or penne)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, cooked pasta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a healthier option, substitute whole wheat pasta and turkey or chicken meatballs.
- Add vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or zucchini to the mixture for extra nutrition and flavor.
