Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for the sauce)
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for the sauce)
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste, for the sauce)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice (for the sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- While the chicken is grilling, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the skewers with the Bang Bang sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the olive oil and spices for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
- You can substitute shrimp or tofu for the chicken for a different protein option.
